Braven Health℠ Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
To submit claims and receive reimbursements for Braven Health℠ members, providers, as well as vendors and clearinghouses, must register to establish EDI capabilities with Braven Health.
The Braven Health Payer ID is 84367.
If you use a trading partner (clearinghouse or vendor) to send and receive electronic transactions, you need to:
- Contact your trading partner to confirm they have completed the required Braven Health EDI registration process.
- Complete and submit the Electronic Remittance Advice (835) Enrollment Form (ERA 835 Enrollment Form) for Braven Health.
If you don’t complete the ERA 835 Enrollment Form for Braven Health you will not receive ERA transactions in response to claims submitted for services provided to Braven Health members.
As a reminder, Braven Health plans use the Horizon Managed Care Network. If you participate in the Horizon Managed Care Network, you participate in most Braven Health plans.
To Register with Braven Health
For Providers:
- To register with Braven Health for ERA 835 transactions
- Submit a completed online ERA (835) Enrollment Form.
If you use a trading partner you must complete and submit your own Braven Health ERA 835 Enrollment Form to receive ERA transactions for claims submitted for services provided to Braven Health members. - You will receive a confirmation email once the ERA 835 Form is processed.
- Submit a completed online ERA (835) Enrollment Form.
- To register for other transactions
- Submit a completed Electronic Transaction Authorization Form to register for other transactions.
- We will email you an enrollment confirmation once complete.
For Trading Partners:
- To register for Electronic Remittance Advice (835) transactions
- Submit a completed the online Electronic Remittance Advice (835) Enrollment Form.
- Submit a completed EDI Services Trading Partner Checklist.
- When you receive a test submitter ID, please call 1-888-334-9242 or email BravenEDI@BravenHealth.com to set up a test.
- Your official submitter ID will be provided when testing is complete.
- Please remind your providers that they must complete and submit their own separate Electronic Remittance Advice (835) Enrollment Form for Braven Health to receive ERA transactions for claims submitted for services provided to Braven Health members.
- To register for other transactions
- Complete and submit the EDI Services Trading Partner Checklist and Electronic Transaction Authorization Form to register for other transactions.
- Following receipt of your test submitter ID, please contact us to initiate testing by calling 1-888-334-9242 or emailing BravenEDI@BravenHealth.com.
- A production submitter ID will be provided after the successful completion of testing.
It may take up to 30 days to process this information. If you have not received a response from us after 30 days, please contact our EDI Service Desk for an update.
